Your new companyHays Education are working with a secondary school in Derby who are looking for an experienced School Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.Your new roleAs a School Administrator, you will play an integral part in maintaining the vital functions of the school to ensure it runs smoothly. You will have the responsibility to provide administrative support to the whole school, and your duties may include responding to emails, dealing with school meal administration, ordering stationery, paying invoices, greeting visitors to the school, printing and photocopying, and managing school systems.What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working within a school office (essential)
  • Working knowledge of systems such as MS Office
  • Experience using SIMS/Arbor or ability to pick systems up quickly
  • Great organisation and communication skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
