Payroll Officer - Leading Organisation - Hybrid Working
Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist looking for your next challenge? We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and detail-oriented payroll professional to join a well-established company. The Role:
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, and working closely with HR and Finance teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing monthly payrolls via outsourced payroll provider
- Updating and maintaining payroll records and spreadsheets
- Handling payroll-related queries from employees and management7
- Managing leave, sickness, and overtime reports
- Checking payroll reports to identify and resolve issues before processing
- Working with payroll providers to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory requirements
- Calculating and processing termination payments, salary increases, and back pay
- Reconciling payments of Court Orders, Pensions, and PAYE
- Supporting data collation and extraction for a new ERP system implementation
What we're Looking For:
- We are seeking a payroll professional with:Demonstrable experience in payroll processing
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Intermediate Excel skills and the ability to handle data
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and an understanding of employment awards
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage a fluctuating workload
- A customer-focused approach with a problem-solving mindset
