Our client, a large business in Derby, is looking for a payroll specialist to join them on a temporary basis to start as soon as possible. This could go on to become a permanent position.

Our client is a large business, based in Derby. They are offering a 1 day per week in the office working pattern.
Description
Overseeing a payroll of 1000 monthly paid employees
Making sure overtime is paid correctly and shift patterns are correct
Responsible for being the intermediary between the HR/Finance department and the outsourcing company
Lots of checking of reports, and sending to the payroll provider for checking
Pulling reports from the new system, putting them into the right format
End to end payroll queries
Profile
Someone who is immediately available and has a strong background in payroll.
Job Offer
£40,000 paid as an hourly rate
Some flexibility on working hours
Hybrid working and some flex on hours
Potential permanent role for the right person
