We are working with a leading housing developer to recruit an Environmental, Sustainability and Social Value Coordinator to join their team in Derby.

Day to Day

As the ESS Coordinator, heres just some of what your responsibilities will entail:

• Ensure all regional projects are inline with Environmental legislation, guidelines, licenses, permits and planed outcomes
• Auditing and inspecting works on site to ensure compliance, and producing reports and updates on them
• Creating Environmental Risk Assessments and Method Statements, as well as being responsible for the investigation of any incidents and the actions taken following
• Taking responsibility for the Social Value Plan for the region, supporting the implementation and monitoring the performance of Social Value activities
• Helping to produce responses to Tender/PQQ questions around Environmental and Sustainability compliance and actions, as well as the Social Value

About You

Essential:

• BSc in Geology, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, or other relevant fields
• Either IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental Qualification
• Proven experience working in an Environmental and Sustainability role or similar field
• Strong knowledge and understanding of environmental legislations and best practices, as well as related enforcement agencies and their operations
