  • To carry out 1st off Inspection / Receipt Inspection / Inspection and Calibration activities as required to support operations.
  • Running CMM programmes; analysing and recording results and making quality decisions.
  • To support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured.
  • To liaise closely with Engineering to ensure the smooth transition of new products – New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Machine and Tooling Set Up Packs as required, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, Inspection Plans.
Quality InspectorEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Well-versed inspecting a range of metal high precision components/parts, to tight tolerances
  • Experience working within a highly regulated environment/industry (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas, rail)
  • Confident using dimensional measurement tools such as verniers/callipers, gauges, micrometres
  • Positive attitude, with an open mind to learning new skills
