The position is for a Quality Inspector at a leading precision component manufacturer in the Aerospace sector.
Candidates should have experience inspecting machined and fabricated components, particularly in regulated industries.
The role offers a competitive salary and requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 06:00 am to 14:30 pm and Friday from 06:00 am to 10:30 am.

To carry out 1st off Inspection / Receipt Inspection / Inspection and Calibration activities as required to support operations.
Running CMM programmes; analysing and recording results and making quality decisions.
To support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured.
To liaise closely with Engineering to ensure the smooth transition of new products – New Product Introduction (NPI).
Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Machine and Tooling Set Up Packs as required, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, Inspection Plans.

Quality InspectorEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Well-versed inspecting a range of metal high precision components/parts, to tight tolerances
Experience working within a highly regulated environment/industry (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas, rail)
Confident using dimensional measurement tools such as verniers/callipers, gauges, micrometres
Positive attitude, with an open mind to learning new skills
