Construction Main Contractor
The Company:
Our client is a Construction Main Contractor based within the East Midlands. A young and vibrant company, founded by three like minded individuals who are enjoying a sustained period of growth due to a number of successful contract awards. A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and driven assistant quantity surveyor to join their team.

The Role:
The role will include working alongside the Commercial Director managing the financial accounts of the overall projects, preparing and delivering valuation reports on time, which will then be reviewed, along with the commercial responsibility of the projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the Commercial Director
- Procurement of subcontractors
- Preparing and meeting dates for valuations
- Subcontract payments and preparation for final accounts
- Submission of Cost value reconciliations
- Measurement of sub contact works against original valuation
- Identify and agreement of change for variations
- Advising on main/sub contract conditions
- Assist in the progression of the company
- Ideally, the successful candidate will be dynamic, driven, committed and loyal individual who is searching for a new opportunity where they can become an influential member of a successful management team when taking the company forward.
- The candidate will need to have experience of working on similar types of projects although construction project experience will be considered and should have a positive can do attitude and be confident in dealing with clients.
- A Construction degree or related discipline (HNC or HND) preferred with the relevant experience within a similar position.
On offer is a basic Salary up to 36k (Dependant on experience) plus a mileage allowance and package for the correct candidate.
