Our client, Derby City Council is looking for a Social Worker for its Multi agency safeguarding hub (MASH) in adult social care – are you interested? Or can you refer a friend for £250 if placed?
The pay rate is £33 umbrella.
Details of the role:
- Derby City Council Adult Social Care are looking for a qualified social worker to join the Safeguarding Adults and Professional Standards Team for a temporary period.
- This role is office based within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) at the Council House alongside colleagues from partner agencies including the police and the NHS.
- There may also be some home visits to people living within the city boundaries.
- The successful candidate will work as part of a team to undertake initial safeguarding adult enquiries, providing a rapid response to safeguarding adult concerns.
- This includes carrying out initial assessments and working in partnership with citizens and relevant agencies to develop proportionate and empowering safety plans to protect people from harm and prevent abuse from reoccurring.
- This is a fast-paced and challenging role that requires a high level of skill and expertise, and the ability to work under pressure.
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care
- Strong safeguarding adults experience
- Person-centred and strengths-based practice
