Software Developer needed for a 2 week contract to develop a prototype software tool for a rail sector client.

Working with a small IT Consultancy specialising in IT solutions for the rail industry.

Working fully remote (WFH). Outside IR35. Start ideally 23/30 September 2024. Key skills, experience + tasks will include:

The Project: developing a prototype, proof-of-concept software tool that extracts text from video files and converts audio into text files.
• Extracting static text data from video files and converting scrolling text into text files, or audio messages into text files.
• Preferred software development / programming languages: C#, .NET, C++, Python.
• The prototype solution will support multiple video formats.
• Rail industry and Passenger Information Systems (PIS) related experience preferred.
• Further details to be provided at MS Teams / phone interview.
