Role Overview:As a High Level Teaching Assistant on a supply basis, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and social development of students across various schools. You will be required to respond to day-to-day calls and provide flexible support where needed, ensuring continuity in students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.
  • Support individual students and small groups with their learning activities.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress.
  • Provide support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching styles.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting student learning.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Availability for day-to-day supply calls and short-notice assignments.
