- Maintaining a knowledge of the external charity funding environment and benchmark the charity against fundraising trends and best practice in the wider sector
- Completing and managing grant and trust applications (working in conjunction with CEO and Trustees) across large, medium and small (volume) trusts and foundations
- Engaging with potential corporate partners maintaining and developing positive relationships with a varied pool of stakeholders, supporters and funders
- Roll out the charity’s corporate programme
- Developing a targeted programme to gain support and funds from local clubs and societies
- Attending relevant external meetings and presentation events
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring close and effective working relationships across the whole organisation
- Working with the CEO to produce, implement the fundraising plan
- Experience in a similar role developing and delivering fundraising strategies
- Income generation experience
- Must have a driving license
- Relationship building experience
- Self-motivated and results driven
