- Provide specialist gastroenterology care, including endoscopy, outpatient clinics, and inpatient consultations.
- Contribute to the care of general medicine inpatients, including ward cover responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Support service development, clinical governance, and research initiatives.
- Teach and mentor junior doctors, medical students, and allied health professionals.
- Evidence of entry on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of attaining CCT at the time of the interview.
- CCT in Gastroenterology and General Medicine (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience in general medicine ward cover, with strong acute care skills.
