We are seeking a dedicated and motivated clinician with a passion for acute care to enhance our expanding Acute Medicine service.About the Role:
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred care within the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Same-Day Emergency Care (SDEC).
  • Lead and support the rapid assessment, diagnosis, and management of acutely unwell patients.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to improve patient flow and enhance care pathways.
  • Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide teaching, training, and mentorship to junior doctors and allied health professionals.
Requirements:
  • Evidence of entry on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of attaining CCT at the time of the interview.
  • CCT in Acute Medicine, General Internal Medicine, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong clinical skills in the management of acutely unwell patients.
  • Commitment to service development, innovation, and teamwork.
