My Harley Solutions is recruiting for a Sheet Metal Fabricatorto support one of our valued clients in the automotive sector. In this crucial role, you will contribute to the fabrication of components for automated parts handling systems. This position requires expertise in TIG and MIG welding techniques, as well as proficiency in utilising various fabrication equipment such as press brakes, guillotines, and rollers.
Early Friday Finish: 13:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG and MIG welding tasks to assemble and fabricate sheet metal components.
- Utilize press brakes, guillotines, rollers, and other fabrication equipment to shape and form metal according to specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and uphold quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
- Familiarity with operating press brakes, guillotines, rollers, and other fabrication equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, with the capacity to suggest and implement your own ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
