Sonic Summary

The client is seeking a Machine Operative/Welder for a temporary ongoing role in Stanton-By-Dale, Ilkeston, with potential for permanent employment.
Responsibilities include operating machinery such as lathes and boring machines, as well as welding pipe flanges using MIG techniques.
Candidates should have at least 12 months of experience in MIG welding and prior experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is preferred.
An FLT license is advantageous and the role requires the ability to work both days and afternoon shifts.
The position offers a pay range of £13.19 to £15.00 per hour, with a Monday to Friday work schedule.

We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for a Machine Operative/Welder for our client in Stanton-By-Dale, Ilkeston. This is initially a temporary on-going role with a view to becoming permanent

Duties -

Working within a manufacturing environment, operating machinery (lathes, boring machines,etc)
Welding of pipe flanges (MIG)
Using verniers to measure finished products

What we are looking for -

Previous experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment,
Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred
FLT licence is advantageous
12 months experience in MIG welding
Able to work days and afternoon shifts
