T&K Associates is seeking a Welder for a permanent position in Shepshed due to business expansion.
The role offers a starting salary of £14.50 per hour, with potential increases after a successful probation period, and paid overtime at £21.75 per hour.
Candidates must have welding experience, with a preference for those who have used a Laser Welder, and a certificate or evidence of welding training is required.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 4:45pm and Friday from 7:30am to 12:30pm, totaling a 40-hour work week.

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Welder to join our Client on a permanent basis in Shepshed.

Welder Job Details;

£14.50 per hour to start with the opportunity of an increase after a successful probationary period is passed

Welder Role & Responsibilities include;

Laser welding the products
Completing ad hoc welding
Completing some mechanical assembly
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Fabrication work on the products
Quality checking the products
Relaying build issues to the production manger
Any other duties as required

Welder Person Specification;

Welding experience is essential - previous experience using a Laser Welder is preferred but not essential.
Certificate or evidence of Welding training is required.
Knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Co-ordination of hand and eye movements is necessary to produce a good quality product
A good team player
Strong attention to detail
