We are seeking a Housing Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves managing paperwork and communications related to the occupation of housing applications. The ideal candidate will be organised, proficient in administrative tasks, and capable of handling client interactions with professionalism.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Complete and manage paperwork related to clients' occupation of temporary accommodation.
  • Communicate with clients by phone to discuss and update documents as necessary.
  • Liaise with temporary accommodation providers to confirm or cancel bookings.
  • Review and handle paperwork related to the overpayment of housing benefits and complete approval requests for payment.
  • Perform other general administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within housing or similar sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with clients over the phone.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in handling paperwork.
  • Proficient in using standard office software and systems.
