We are seeking a Site Supervisor with experience in infrastructure gas projects to oversee and support our on-site teams in Norfolk. The role involves supervising the delivery of gas utility projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and to high standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with Tier 1 contractors and SCO gas qualifications (SCO91).Key Responsibilities:- Supervise site teams delivering infrastructure gas projects, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.- Monitor and manage daily operations, ensuring work is on schedule and aligns with project specifications.- Provide guidance to team members, coordinating tasks and resolving on-site issues.- Ensure compliance with gas safety regulations, including SCO requirements.- Report on project progress, site issues, and compliance with the Project Manager.- Promote a culture of safety, addressing potential hazards and implementing safe work practices.Qualifications:- Proven experience in gas utility project supervision, ideally within infrastructure projects.- Experience with Tier 1 contractors.- SCO gas qualifications (SCO91 required).- Lifting operations accreditation preferred.- Experience in deep excavation, temporary works and hot works.- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Requirements:- Full UK driving licence and the ability to work at a fixed site location within the Norfolk area.- Relevant qualifications in construction, gas utilities, or related fields are advantageous.What We Offer:- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Training and development opportunities.- Supportive and collaborative work environment.If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
