Reed Engineering are working with an amazing family run business who need a Maintenance Engineer to join their team! This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for a challenging yet rewarding career in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Diagnose and correct mechanical and some electrical issues to resolve breakdown situations promptly.
- Devise consistent delivery of an engineering strategy across the plant.
- Deliver turn-key improvement projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives alongside proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant.
- Perform additional duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with a food manufacturing company
- A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical, automation, or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable although not essential, supported by suitable experience.
- Enthusiastic and motivated, with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Flexibility and cooperativeness to meet business needs.
- Monday to Friday hours - no shifts required
