Product ExecutiveThis award winning tour operator offer a range of inspiring worldwide touring holidays and now have two new Product Executive vacancies to join them at an exciting time of company growth. As a Product Executive you will play an essential role in designing & developing new & existing worldwide tours, and with the genuine opportunity to develop and progress into a Product Manager role. The position is predominantly office based in Norfolk, with a salary of circa £30,000. Â
Product Executive – Role & Responsibilities:Â
- Support the Product Managers with creating compelling, original trips to meet customer requirements, sharing customer feedback to improve existing product range.
- Carry out competitor analysis to support itinerary planning, and ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Control tour costs and accurately load contracts & tour details onto the system.Â
- Negotiate contracts to achieve required capacity and costs whilst maintaining quality standards and according to deadlines.
- In collaboration with internal departments, identify and react to commercial threats & opportunities and keep booking system updated.
- Communicate details of tour changes and update systems accordingly.
- Monitor customer feedback and highlight and resolve any reoccurring issues.
- Ensure all assigned tour elements have been health & safety checked and meet required standards
- Brief tour managers on itineraries and prepare and update tour manager paperwork for each departure.
- Coordinate with operations to confirm pre-departure arrangements with suppliers.
- Keep FCDO information up to date.
- Deliver accurate content for brochures related to all products and ensure brochure production schedule is met according to deadlines.
- Assist with proofreading and prepare notes for product training.
Product Executive - Skills & Â Experience Required:
- Experience of working in the travel industry, preferably for a tour operator.Â
- Passion for delivering excellence, with fresh new ideas and a will to make things happen.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation skills.
- Creative and innovative approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Flexible and able to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Pro-active with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
