My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to perform fire protection system maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs at customer premises, ensuring system functionality, safety, and documentation are completed.Key Responsibilities:* Plan and prepare tools and supplies for visits.* Maintain professional relationships with customers.* Perform maintenance and repairs in line with safety protocols.* Wear branded uniform and necessary PPE.* Complete and submit paperwork promptly.* Be available for on-call duties.* Maintain service vehicle and equipment.* Manage work-related purchases and credit receipts.* Complete required training and certifications.* Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.* Follow safety protocols in workshops and yards.* Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:* Knowledge of water mist suppression systems and fire prevention.* Experience in similar field engineer roles and technical competence.* Electrical qualifications (Level 3 or 17th Edition preferred).* Customer-focused and proficient with mobile technologies.* CSCS card or related competency certification.Other Requirements:* Valid driving license.* Ability to travel and stay away from home.* Ability to obtain required security clearances.Shift Pattern & Hours:* Monday - Friday (optional weekends).* After 6 months, join on-call rota (week at a time).* 10-hour days with flexible start and finish times.Benefits:* Company Van or Travel Allowance.* Uniform provided.* Life Insurance (3x annual salary after probation).* 24 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), with 3 days over Christmas.* Employee Assistance Programme.* Summer and Christmas company events (food and drink provided).
