Key Responsibilities:
Team Coordination: This role involves guiding and assigning staff to repair or replace equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, ensuring everything is reassembled properly.
Preventive Maintenance: The technician will oversee regular maintenance to keep machines running well, building systems operating smoothly, and prevent wear and tear on facilities.
Inspection Duties: Allocating tasks for inspecting and testing machinery to identify issues early.
Maintenance Planning: Reviewing and evaluating the type and cost of maintenance or repair work required.
Repair Management: Directing staff to dismantle equipment to access and replace faulty parts using various tools and equipment.
Problem Solving: Assisting in diagnosing mechanical problems and guiding staff to fix them, using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogue when necessary.
Manufacturing Support: Utilising knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure machinery and systems are optimised for production efficiency, contributing to seamless operations.
