Operations Manager - Open Spaces

As an Open Spaces Operational Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team and the overall management of all owned open spaces and buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of services to agreed standards
- Identify staff training needs
- Recommend appropriate staffing levels
- Performance reporting
- Ensure the delivery of services are within the agreed budget
- Ensure all building and equipment are maintained and serviced
- Ordering stock
- Liaise with external contractors
- Maintain Health and Safety records to include conducting risk assessments and COSHH sheets
- Investigate any complaints
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience managing a team is essential
- Experience with grounds maintenance / horticulture experience essential
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Driving licence
This position is working 37 hours per week 5 days out of 7
Most weeks will be working Monday - Friday however, some weekend/evening working is needed to cover events
