A head chef is required to drive the business to the next level.
An exciting opportunity for the right person in a small kitchen environment (a complement of 4).
Looking for an experienced chef who has at least 5 years' experience, either as a head chef or a sous chef prepared to look at taking on a new challenge. This is a hands-on role and you will sometimes be working on your own.
Responsibilities will include :
Preparing and delivering quality dishes with a high standard of presentation
Menu design and costing - both regular dishes and specials
Cost control and gross margin maintenance
Maintaining health and safety standards in the kitchen
Stock control and ordering of supplies; controlling prices.
Managing staffing levels and rota's.
