Site Foreman

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Foreman based in the Wiltshire area. This will be working for a Civil Contractor in the Rail/Civils industry. We are looking for someone that has got a strong background in Rail and Civils projects such as earthworks, maintenance works, civil and infrastructure works.

Responsibilities:

• All inductions
• Daily briefs and inspections
• Recording all change
• Supervision and organise all site operatives and subcontractors.
• Have a good understanding of all the projects and packages, to make sure that the contract is being run correctly at all times.
• Check drawings to make sure they are correct and up to date with designers.
• Make sure all Health and Safety are all in place, make any changes that can make the work space better.
• Daily record keeping.
• Be on hand to liaise with the site and project management teams.

Person specification:

Essential:

• Civils and Rail background is needed - infrastructure, earthworks and heavy civils
• Supervising experience
• Good understanding of health and safety on a site
• SSSTS
• Be able to prioritise and manage your own diary
• Great and professional attitude at all times.
• Someone that is happy to work away from home when needed
• Full UK drivers license
