We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association based in Wiltshire, who are recruiting for a Contract Surveyor to join their growing team on a temporary basis for three months, with high chance of extension following this.

This is a full-time position with daily rate of circa. £250/day via an umbrella company and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing the work of contractors on site, ensuring their work meets pre agreed SLAs and budgetary requirements
  • Visiting sites and meet with site managers from external contractors
  • Ensuring all works are CDM and Health and Safety compliant
  • Providing reports to Senior Management and the board based on contractor performance and project progress
  • Carrying out post inspections on domestic works and creating snagging lists as appropriate
  • Tendering for and procuring new contractors alongside senior management, and agreeing on contractual designs
  • Attending and chairing contractor meetings
  • Continually reviewing contractor agreements

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualification
  • Recent experience in Social Housing
