13.69 - 14.36 per hour

I have been instructed to recruit a dedicated and highly motivated HR Administrator to join our Client based in Rowde. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who is eager to contribute to a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will support HR operations across the Business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the recruitment process, including creating and placing advertisements and compiling application packs.
- Maintain the Single Central Register (SENTRY) and ensure compliance with relevant policies.
- Process DBS applications for new and existing staff.
- Support new starters by setting up staff records on the systems.
- Manage the probation process for new employees, including scheduling meetings.
- Provide HR support to staff, including responding to queries and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaise with Wiltshire Council HR and Payroll departments as needed.
- Maintain staff records on HR management systems such as SIMS, SAMpeople, and SENTRY.
- Record and monitor staff sickness absence and process related paperwork.
- Provide general office and administrative support, including reception duties and handling inquiries.
- Support CPD processes and coordinate ID badge orders.
Key Qualities:
- Experience in administration (experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible and proactive approach to work.
- Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality requirements.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
The role may require occasional travel between school sites.
