Role objectives

The HR team nurtures a reputation of reliability, efficiency and trustworthiness. The purpose of this role is to maximize positive employee relationships by:

• Being the first point of contact for HR-related queries from managers and employees.

• You are expected to display a positive, professional and fair approach reflecting your status as custodian of the HR policies and procedures.

• Providing a professional, ethical, exact and timely administrative function, in accordance with Company procedures.

• Continuously find ways and methods to improve the HR function

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing recruitment and staffing needs, including job postings, interviews, and hiring processes.
  • Overseeing employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Handling employee relations, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts.
  • Maintaining employee records and HR databases.
  • Monitoring performance management systems, including appraisals and feedback.
  • Organising training and development programs for employee growth.
  • Managing employee leave, attendance, and time-off requests.
  • Supporting workforce planning and talent management strategies.
  • Providing guidance and support to managers on HR-related issues.
  • Conducting exit interviews and managing offboarding processes.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong administration skills with accuracy, attention to detail with good numeracy skills.
  • Level 5 CIPD Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Ability to perform duties to a high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, ideally with ADP software
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of building successful relationships and promoting good working relationships.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt and with balancing many demands and deliver under pressure changing
  • circumstances and demands.
  • IT literacy (MS office, HR database systems)
