Location: Head Office-Wakefield (Covering Halifax & North West)

Salary: 25k-30k Basic (realistic OTE 50k-60K)-Uncapped commission!!

Reports To: Sales Director

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for the access equipment? We are looking for a Sales & Money Hungry Sales focussed individual to join the small area sales team and lead my clients sales efforts in Halifax & North West Region.

The role is predominately hybrid working between home and doing one day in the office per week.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the business forward. You will develop and implement effective sales strategies, build strong relationships with B2B clients, and identify new business opportunities. Your expertise in the material handling, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery sectors will be highly valued but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute sales plans to meet targets and grow market share.
  • Client Management: Develop and nurture relationships with both current and potential customers, understanding their needs and offering customized solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Perform market research to uncover new business opportunities and keep up with industry trends and competitor actions.
  • Sales Presentations: Craft and deliver engaging sales presentations and product demos to clients.
  • Negotiation: Handle contract negotiations and close deals that benefit the company.
  • Reporting: Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status, and regularly update the Sales Director.
  • Travel: Visit customers and attend industry events within the assigned territory.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience either External or Internal preferably in a similar industry but this is not essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the material handling, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery sectors.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
    • Outbound new business development
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes:
    • Minimum 2-3 years B2B sales experience.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
