You’ll play a key role in managing the company’s payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while contributing to the wider success of the finance department. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and process weekly and monthly payroll for up to 200 employees
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries and escalations
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC, PAYE legislation, and pension requirements
  • Run payroll using SAGE Payroll software
  • Provide ad hoc support to the finance team as needed
 Skills & Experience required:
  • Demonstrable experience in managing end-to-end payroll, ideally within a busy environment
  • Proficient in SAGE Payroll
  • Solid understanding of current payroll legislation, compliance, and best practices 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Highly organised, able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • A high degree of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
