About the role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Part-Time Payroll Manager to join a fast-paced, friendly, and dynamic finance team. You’ll play a key role in managing the company’s payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while contributing to the wider success of the finance department. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and process weekly and monthly payroll for up to 200 employees
Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries and escalations
Ensure compliance with HMRC, PAYE legislation, and pension requirements
Run payroll using SAGE Payroll software
Provide ad hoc support to the finance team as needed

Skills & Experience required:

Demonstrable experience in managing end-to-end payroll, ideally within a busy environment
Proficient in SAGE Payroll
Solid understanding of current payroll legislation, compliance, and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Highly organised, able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
A high degree of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
