The successful Workshop Manager will have a mechanical background, and will possess great organisational skills plus IT/system abilities. A strong communicator the workshop manager must have a track record including leadership and customer service.
This exciting and pivotal role is essential to deliver the best customer experience. Within a smaller team focused on a specialist product the Workshop Manager will lead the team through managing the workflow, co-ordinating the parts suppliers, raising jobcards to create an efficient workshop. By updating and advising customers directly also the Workshop Manager will be responsible for keeping up the highest level of customer service. And finally through manipulating the IT systems they will provide feedback and forecasts for the senior management.
