Seeking a dedicated Junior Credit Controller to join an established finance team. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach, able to manage multiple priorities and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

Description

The Junior Credit Controller will be responsible for:

  • Manage and maintain client accounts
  • Ensure timely debt collection and minimise financial risk.
  • Prepare accurate reports on credit control activity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to promote prompt payment.
  • Work closely with the accounting and finance team to streamline processes.
  • Adhere to all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Contribute to the team's objectives and support colleagues when required
  • Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions
  • Other ad hoc tasks to support wider finance team

Profile

A successful Junior Credit Controller should have:

  • Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Tenacity and resilience
  • Exposure to working in a finance department, some finance administration experience would be ideal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
