Cleaning Supervisor- Didcot
14 per hour
The role is for 12.5 hours per week, 16:30 -19:00pm, Monday to Friday
The cleaning supervisor will work as part of a team and supervise a variety of regular and one-off cleaning tasks and duties as directed by their line manager.
- The cleaning supervisor will be responsible for the collation of all time and attendance data for the team
- Liaise direct with the operations manager to ensure stock levels are managed, maintained and ordered
- Have knowledge of H&S and ensure safety is always the priority
- Liaise direct with the onsite client
- Liaise with management on any HR issue
- To ensure all work is carried out in a safe, proper and thorough manner taking into account Health and safety legislation, policies and procedures, risk assessments and method statements
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and staff information.
- Be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of your designated area and for maintaining high and consistent standards
- Take initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within the rota but require attention as part of maintaining overall high standards.
- Liaise with operations manager, and other members of staff as required to ensure the cleaning rota operates smoothly around the organisation.
- Ensure Health & Safety, quality and general procedure compliance
- Work as part of a team and support other members of the cleaning team to meet standards and clients objectives
- Report any Health and Safety issues to the Supervisor
- Experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties: Vacuuming, Dusting, Mopping, Scrubbing, Buffing, Disposing of waste, and Replenishing consumables
- Be prepared to receive and undertake further training as required.
- At all times to follow through any managerial instructions
