An opportunity has arisen for an EMEA Payroll Assistant to join our client based in Oxford. This role has a strong mix of accounting duties along with assisting the production of EMEA payroll. Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all employee related payments are made accurately and on time in accordance with internal and external deadlines
  • Coordination of payroll change instructions to outsourced payroll providers and validation of resulting reports
  • Creation of journals to accurately account for Payroll costs
  • Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Raising payments in the bank
  • Managing internal and external enquiries.

Requirements

  • Maths and literacy education to GCSE Grade 4 minimum
  • Experience of working across a multiple payroll environment, preferably obtained within an international shared service environment
  • Fluent English language
  • High degree of confidentiality and working knowledge of GDPR privacy framework
  • Good communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
