A Quality Control Technician within a manufacturing environment is required by a great company in Didcot (OX11). This is a rolling 3 month temporary contract, offering excellent prospects of becoming permanent within the next year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Testing on incoming, in progress and outgoing materials ensuring any non-conformance is reported and appropriate actions taken
  • Document results and provide feedback to the production and supply teams
  • Identify subtle differences, identify trends and contribute to solutions to ensure that the quality of the supplied components and product is maintained to the highest possible standard
  • Input data in order that quality and production related queries can be answered rapidly and accurately

To be successful in this role you will have be able to work and cooperate in a small team of 3 to 4 other Quality Control Technicians, operating in harmony to ensure the processes are followed properly. You will also possess good time management skills, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Previous laboratory or cleanroom experience, especially in Quality Control, would be a distinct advantage, although this is not essential as full training will be provided.
