We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant for a temporary position in Didcot, with the potential for it to become permanent.
The role offers a salary range of £28,000 to £32,000, depending on experience.
Candidates should possess previous credit control or finance experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility available.
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, are essential for this role.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support our Didcot-based client on an immediate temporary basis whilst they recruit for a permanent position. This role could possibly go permanent for the right person.

Job Type: Temporary
Location: Didcot, hybrid working available
Salary: 28K - 32K (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM (with flexibility)

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Assist with the day-to-day running of the accounts receivable function within the finance team.
Assisting with credit control.
Resolve queries relating to sales ledger invoices and payments.
Processing payments.
Create and dispatch monthly statements.
Assist with the month-end sales ledger close.
Generate credit notes and refunds.

The successful Accounts Assistant will have the following related skills / experience:

Previous credit control / finance experience.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Knowledge of MS office including Excel and Outlook.
