GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced SEMH Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition for clients in Dinnington, South Yorkshire.

Job Summary:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 tutoring for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in core subjects, particularly Maths, English, and Science.
  • Support the student's individual learning plan and adapt teaching methods to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Build a positive and supportive relationship with the student to encourage engagement and learning.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for the student.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
  • Have previous experience working with students with SEMH needs.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be proactive, patient, and adaptable.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
