Assistant Management Accountant

South Norfolk

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join our client in South Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT finalist or someone who has already commenced their further studies (ACCA/CIMA), looking to take the next step in their career. Alongside a competitive salary, a comprehensive study package will be provided to support your qualification and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Posting month-end journals, including prepayments and accruals.
  • Supporting the production and analysis of monthly income statements and balance sheets.
  • Communicating financial data and insights effectively to the Financial Controller.
  • Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decision-making and control.
  • Collaborating with the Payroll department to ensure accurate pension journal postings.
  • Utilizing advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyse data efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • An AAT finalist or someone actively pursuing professional accountancy qualifications.
  • Eager to advance their career in a supportive and personalised work environment.
  • Proficient in Excel and able to manage and interpret complex data effectively.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
