I am delighted to be supporting an established business seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to lead their finance team in a key role to oversee budgeting, forecasting and reporting whilst ensuring compliance with financial regulations, improving financial processes, and providing insights to support strategic business decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
- Conduct variance analysis and explain financial performance against budget/forecast
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process across the business
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports for senior management
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
- Maintain robust financial controls and implement improvements where needed
- Collaborate with managers to understand cost drivers and profitability
- Support year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, and projects as required
The successful candidate will be CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified (or equivalent) with experience of management accounting, strong leadership and communication skills.
