NXTGEN Are working with a well-known business in south Norfolk who are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll professional with a passion for compliance and a strong understanding of HMRC regulations. As a Payroll Compliance Specialist, you will take ownership of ensuring compliance with payroll reporting requirements, providing expert advice, and driving system enhancements to streamline payroll processes. In addition to this as a Payroll Compliance Specialist, you will lead on payroll Audits and ensuring you have all up to date knowledge of the latest payroll legislation's. You will work closely with the payroll manager in ensuring the smooth running of the payroll function so it is essential you have an end to end knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all payroll reporting requirements to HMRC.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for HMRC and other government bodies for any payroll-related queries.
  • Provide expert advice on payroll matters, promptly resolving queries from employees and management.
  • Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and implementations to improve payroll processes and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with payroll non-compliance.
  • Develop and maintain internal payroll policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Deliver training and support to internal teams on payroll compliance requirements and regulatory updates.
