Semi Senior Accountant, Doncaster
The Role
Barber McLelland are working in Partnership with a regional and highly progressive accountancy firm. Due to continued growth, the business is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Doncaster office.
The firm provides a variety of services which includes Statutory Accounts, Bookkeeping, VAT Returns, Management Accounts and Tax advisory.
Due to the highly varied client base in which the firm support, the successful candidate will develop great exposure across all areas of accounting and business advisory experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role of Semi Senior Accountant will work within a highly experienced and supportive environment and will be responsible for the following:
- Preparation of accounts for owner-managed limited companies, sole traders and partnerships to review stage, by processing data from the client’s records
- Preparation of personal and corporation tax computations
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
The successful applicant will have developed a minimum of 2 years experience working within the accountancy profession and will be level 3 AAT or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA, have good knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
Individuals who have developed suitable experience but have decided not to pursue formal studies are also encouraged.
The business is looking for an individual who is keen to further develop their career as an accounting professional, taking on additional accounting and client duties with the support and training of manement and partners.
Salary/Benefits
- Salary £24,000 - £26,000 (Depending on experience)
