Accounts Assistant £26,000 per annum + full study support Doncaster, South Yorkshire Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are searching for an Accounts Assistant to join our client based in Doncaster on a permanent, full-time basis.This is a fantastic and progressive opportunity which will see you supporting the company Accountants in managing financial tasks, with a focus on month-end processes and accurate financial reporting. Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Posting financial journals
  • Managing accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting with purchase ledger tasks as required
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Performing ledger reconciliations
  • Supporting audits and compliance processes
  • Handling intercompany reconciliations
  • Undertaking ad-hoc tasks and preparing reports as needed

Key Skill & Qualification Requirements:

  • AAT qualified or Accounting graduate 
  • Broad experience in accounting, with a desire for career growth
  • Proficiency in IT, especially Excel
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
