Job title: SME Account Handler
Salary: £30,000+ (DOE)

PURPOSE OF ROLEÂ
We're assisting a well-established insurance firm in recruiting an experienced and knowledgeable Account Handler. In this role you will be responsible for providing insurance solutions to our clients in a timely and effective manner, focusing on servicing SME Commercial clients.
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Client Relationship Management: Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, foster strong client relationships, and assist with the preparation and renewal of insurance policies.
- Policy Administration: Accurately process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, and review policy documentation.
- Insurer Negotiations: Collaborate with insurers to obtain favourable terms, and negotiate premiums and coverage details.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to FCA regulations and stay up-to-date with market and regulatory changes.
- Collaboration and Team Support: Partner with Account Executives and team members to provide seamless client support and share expertise within the team.Â
EXPERIENCEÂ
- Experience in a similar account handling role within the insurance sector or specialism
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
- Proficiency in using insurance platforms and client management systemsÂ
SKILLSÂ
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on client satisfaction
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and professionalism
