Job Title: Broker Account Manager
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: Up to circa £45,000 plus Commission OTE circa £60,000)
Hours: 37.5 hour weekMonday to Friday with flexibility to meet business needs

About the position of Broker Account Manager:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and confident individual to step into an Account Management role, inheriting a portfolio of existing accounts. With a strong background in B2B development, secured lending, and a deep understanding of the intermediary market, you'll primarily focus on promoting secured lending products (accounting for around 70% of your business), with additional exposure to bridging and commercial finance solutions.
Key responsibilities include presenting to intermediary firms, attending expos, and delivering product training, presentations, and educational sessions at key events to boost engagement and increase product awareness. The role requires 2-3 trips per month, with occasional overnight stays.
Responsibilities for the role of Broker Account Manager:
- Identify and convert new business opportunities to meet growth targets.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects and broker relationships.
- Drive outbound sales activity to generate new business and partnerships.
- Negotiate terms, secure deals, and develop long-term client relationships.
- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Deliver face-to-face product training and confidently present at financial events.
- Provide exceptional client service and resolve queries effectively.
- Track performance through reporting and analysis of key metrics.
- Support and execute marketing initiatives to maximise engagement.
- Promote a culture of service excellence across all touchpoints.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, Data Protection, and AML policies.
Experience and skills required for the role of Broker Account Manager:
- Proven experience in B2B development, with a solid background in secured lending and a strong understanding of the Intermediary market.
- Exceptional influencing, negotiating, and communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations in various formats.
- Strong organisational skills, collaborative team player, and self-motivated with a positive, proactive approach.
- Proficient in MS Office and social media for business promotion.
- A clean driving licence is required for occasional travel to meet brokers.
