Machine Operator
Up to 13p/hr (27k p/a) DOE; DN3; M-F 8am-5:00pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays)
Machine Operator, duties:
Manufacturing machinery and parts for plant using workshop techniques.
Setting and operating a range of machines including bending equipment, hydraulic press, wire machine and band saw.
Using engineering drawings to measure and mark material for shaping and bending.
Plan the work required to complete the job, selecting appropriate machine and loading safely.
Machine Operator, requirements:
Ideally you will have completed an apprenticeship or have an engineering qualification such as Mechanical Engineering level 1, 2 or 3 and rates of pay will depend on level and experience.
Experience of using manual and semi-automated tools and machines particularly hydraulic presses, wire machines and band saws (although some training can be given).
You will have the ability to read engineering drawings and be able to use precision tools to take accurate measurements.

Benefits include pay rate of up to 13p/hr (27k) depending on experience and paid monthly
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, finishing at 4.30pm on Fridays
