International Sales Administrator - Doncaster or London
Our client is a power, data, control and instrumentation cable supplier working closely with consultants, contractors and customers to deliver high quality solutions worldwide. They combine our cables with technical expertise, tailored logistics, project management, and a strong drive for sustainability. They have an extensive stockholding available for immediate despatch, and they offer some of the shortest manufacturing lead-times in the industry.
The Role
Entry level role where a successful candidate can thrive in a fast paced and self-sufficient environment. The candidate will develop the basic product, process & organisational skill to progress into an Account Executive position within the company.
The successful candidate will support the sales divisions and requires an organised and methodical approach to their work along with good attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.
There is a progression plan & Training in place for candidates to develop into senior roles in the sales division and the opportunity to move laterally in the company to other division (distribution, logistics, purchasing etc.).
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of an Internal Sales Administrator include, but are not limited to:
- Process customer orders accurately to agreed SLAs
- Ensure orders are checked and correct in relation to product and price
- Liaise with customer services and sales teams regarding any issues with orders
- Gain an understanding of our product range, sales process & logistic platforms.
- Interpret instructions from various Sales Exec colleagues and identify any issues arising
- Provide high standard of customer service
- Carry out additional order associated duties (POD’s, ETA’s, Tech sub docs) in connection with the logistics & technical departments.
The Person
The key skills and qualities of an Internal Sales Administrator are:
- Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft platforms).
- Strong organisational skills.
- Enjoy following all tasks through to completion.
- Comfortable in a busy office environment.
- Demonstrate acute attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken English) and good telephone manners are crucial.
- Second language is a plus, with a preference for French, Spanish and German languages.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
- A positive attitude.
- Strong data entry experience preferred.
