The Benefits include:

Our independent clients, who run this stunning Gastro pub, situated in this lovely village in the countryside commutable to Doncaster, are looking to recruit a talented sous chef to work alongside the experienced head chef to help manage the team of 4-5 chefs at this lovey historic Pub.


The Menu is a mixture of Classic Gastro pub dishes alongside modern takes, all served in a interesting way, and serves both the local and destination diners 7 days a week.


The local operators also own several similar gastro pubs in the area, and are well known for their high standards of food, 1st rate service and quality of life their employees enjoy, with a 4 day working week, this is the ideal opportunity for a career driven sous chef to come into a forward thinking gastro pub group, and look to take on their own head chef position in time, with proven progression within the group.


The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

-Experience working in a fresh food led kitchen, be it gastro pub, hotel or restaurant.

-Proven experience heading up a kitchen in the head chefs absence.

-Understanding of latest H&S & allergen regulations.

-Sound kitchen management knowledge, rotas, costings, menu planning.

-Own transport due to semi-rural location
