Are you looking to become an integral part of the HSE team?
You will be providing Health and Safety training support to the head office, as well across multiple exciting construction projects nationwide.
Delivering imperative Health and Safety training courses, a high level of customer service.
Working alongside a team in a collaborative, family-like environment that is committed to ensuring the growth of its team members, so there is plenty of scope to grow.
You will be driving the improvement of operational Health and Safety behaviour, performance throughout the business, motivating new and existing consultants to deliver solutions, whilst coaching, guidance and advising both their consultants and partners.
They require for this role, extensive working knowledge of up-to-date Health and Safety policies and legislation. Someone skilled in reviewing and refining key documentation, policies and procedures based on Health and Safety legislation and industry standards, lead engaging safety training courses, and empowering learners with the knowledge and confidence to handle challenging situations.
A track record working within an HSE environment (preferably in a construction / renewable energy setting) is preferable and to be qualified to NEBOSH General Certificate level as a minimum.
IT experience in PowerPoint, Excel and Word and a familiarity in using online learning management systems (LMS) would be beneficial.
This is an office-based role, however there will be the regular requirements to travel to clients on construction sites around the UK to provide both holiday and sickness cover for our HSE consultants for extended periods. A flexibility and willingness to travel, a valid driver’s licence required and desirable experience to perform in this HSE Trainer role.
Do you have experience in leading Working at Height, Confined Spaces, Manual Handling and Abrasive Wheels training courses (or desire to become qualified) Relevant trainer’s qualification, i.e., Level 3 IOSH Train the Trainer / Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS), CITB Health and Safety Awareness qualified, or any additional relevant professional accreditation from a recognised body within the construction / civil engineering industries.
