Finance & Business Analyst
Job Summary:
We are looking to recruit a Finance & Business Analyst to the team. The business has identified the need for more detailed analysis to support the business in its continued growth.
The Finance & Business Analyst will play a key role within the finance function and will report into the Finance Director. This position will suit someone who is bright, analytical, with the aspiration of becoming a qualified accountant.
Role Duties:
These are functions an applicant must be able to perform. Other duties or projects may be assigned to meet business needs. Essential Roles and Responsibilities include the following:
§ Continued review and maintenance of customer fees
§ Reconciliation of customer transactions
§ Balance Sheet reconciliations
§ CRM updates with actual results
§ Monthly sales forecasts
§ Weekly reporting internally and to the US parent company
§ Data Management System (DMS) maintenance
§ Credit Card chargeback contests
§ Cash flow forecast
§ Sales analysis
§ Preparation of monthly management accounts
§ Identification of opportunities for automation and continued improvement
§ Business partnering to the Commercial and Customer Service teams
§ Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
§ Any ad-hoc tasks appropriate to the role
Skills & Experience:
§ A clear communicator and the ability to build relationships and business partner with non-finance staff
§ Excellent analytical and Excel skills
§ A desire to learn and make improvements
§ Ability to problem solve/recommend solutions
§ Enthusiastic, confident and a team player with a flexible and positive "can do" approach to wor
