This role seeks an Accounts and Credit Control Manager for a 9-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) to oversee the accounting and finance department in a non-profit setting. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring efficient operation and regulatory compliance.

Description

  • Manage and oversee the operations of the accounting department.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and ensure prompt receipt of payments.
  • Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to the board.
  • Collaborate with financial institutions and department heads to develop budgets, financial plans, and business strategies.

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

  • Proficient with using Sage50
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Proven track record in transactional accounting
  • Strong IT skills
