CFO

SF Executive are working with a high growth, private equity backed service / people based organisation in South Yorkshire to source an savvy, commercial Chief Financial Officer.

The organisation in question is on a fast moving growth trajectory and needs a CFO that on the one hand can make sure the finance team and associated infrastructure are fit for purpose, but also work with the CEO to set and drive the strategic direction of the business.

There is a simply huge array of interesting things going on within this business - many of which you will have input into driving.

You will be a CFO that already works within a fast paced SME services or people business, but there is some potentially for an ambitious FD, Group FC with significant experience of PE businesses to step up into this role. Ideally you will not only have experience of managing PE stakeholders but also the providers of debt solutions, instilling confidence into the providers of these funding mechanisms.

Outside of the debt and funding piece, you will stand shoulder to shoulder with the CEO of the organisation to shape and drive strategy such that the business and its underlying infrastructure grows in a consistent and controlled way.

At the right time you will also lead an exit on behalf of the current private equity backers.

This role will be three days per week (ish) in the office in South Yorkshire so ideally we'd like to engage with PE ready candidates that are can manage this logistically without the need to commute excessively or stay away from home.

A rounded package and mid six figure equity opportunity is on the cards.
